Influence and invest in systems change

Human-centered | Opportunity Mindset | Systems Thinking | Culturally Aware

Our mission is to quicken the pace products and services make it to the people that need or want them.

We partner with organizations who like to tackle tricky market problems and believe in maximizing results for our partners.

Our approach and team members share common values:

  • Human-Centered - We look at incentives to understand and solve problems

  • Opportunity Mindset - We look beyond the immediate relationships for inspiration and are unbounded by historical bias

  • Systems Thinking - We look for strategic entry points and partners that accelerate our partner's objectives

  • Culturally Aware - We look to the country we are going to design solution fit-for-market

What our Users say

I am always very impressed with their work product: the sophisticated analysis and ability to generate creative, out of the box solutions for any of the variety of challenges the project served up -- which at times, were many. However, most importantly, I admire their ability to connect with our country teams’ and staff and engage with them in the innovation process from start to finish.

As a Researcher and Designer myself, I am constantly seeking out new collaborators, consultants, like-minds who I can learn something from and I found this in Discovered Markets. And much of what I have learned from them during their project work with iDE I have been able to apply in other projects.

Discovered Markets would be a tremendous asset to any project or organization. Theyare reliable, sharp, and have the ability to navigate cultures and complex challenges.

Discovered Markets came in and had a tremendous impact on the program. They worked with our teams focusing on access to finance, renewable energy and agriculture, assisting us with organizing our thinking around our key impacts and lessons. They made it comfortable to talk about challenges. One of their most important contributions was their work on Adaptive Management - through the process of documenting how the program applied the principle of "Adaptive Management", they really helped us capture the essence of our approach to working in such a complex environment.

We had confidence in their grasp of the program and asked them to present their work to DFID and others in a learning workshop, which really spurred great conversations about how programs in fluid situations must continuously adapt. I hope I get the chance to work with Discovered Markets again, and I would recommend them without hesitation.
